Pashtuns

Pashtuns, also known as Pukhtuns or Pathans, are an ethnic group primarily living in Afghanistan and Pakistan. They have a rich and ancient history and are one of the largest ethnic groups in Afghanistan. Pashtuns also form a significant minority in Pakistan, particularly in the northwestern regions of the country.

The Pashtun culture is characterized by a code of honor and hospitality, known as Pashtunwali, which places a high value on bravery, loyalty, and respect for one's elders. Pashtuns are also known for their traditional dress, which includes loose-fitting shirts and trousers for men, and long, colorful dresses for women.

Pashto is the native language of the Pashtun people, and they have a rich tradition of poetry, music, and storytelling. Pashtuns are predominantly Sunni Muslims, and Islam plays an important role in their culture and way of life.
